Custom Media Editorial Internship

Great Lakes Publishing’s Custom MediaDivisionis seeking editorial interns to begin immediately for the spring.We invite current students who are majoring in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related fields of study, as well as, recent graduates to apply for consideration. We reimburse transportation costs for parking or bus passes. The internship ranges from 8 to 20 hours a week.

 

Responsibilities:

The intern will learn about our industry and company and will have the opportunity to assist with fact-checking, researching for an event or company, writing articles and more. Our interns are highly valued and are integrated into the editorial team and play a contributing role in our division’s content. They are given plenty of opportunity for professional development.

Qualifications:

We are looking for intellectually curious journalists with experience at their college newspaper or magazine. The ideal candidate also has a flair for magazine-style feature writing and knowledge of Northeast Ohio. Candidates must live or go to college in the Northeast Ohio area.
